Overall bland and hits every cliche in the book, but hey I watched the whole season waiting for it to get more interesting.

This is the worst of Idris Elba. It's like a train falling off a cliff.

I liked it. Lighthearted. Good tunes, and shit.... sometimes you just need a feel good fluff program man. Stop hatin

Just wanna watch Idris Elba but what I got instead is a pretentious 11 year old that I just wanna slap through the tv

level 2

I take it you didn't watch past the second or third episode?

Aunt Lydia is adorable.

The show was a cute slice of life.

I thought it was okay but I feel like the second half was better than the first. I feel like that is because the directors changed in the second half. I liked Matt L. episodes better than Tristan S. However Tristan had the harder job as he had to setup the show and characters and he did an amazing job at that. Still for me the latter half was better mainly because the style was different. I liked the characters my favorite would be David because it seemed like he would never get a good ending for him but his reasons were understandable as to why he did what he did. Overall 6.5/10

I love Idris Elba, but I just watched the trailer on Netflix and this looks just terrible 😂

I’ll just imagine this is Luther on summer break

It wasn't perfect but I quite liked it, binged it in one go, which is something I don't do that often anymore.

Aunty Lydia was hilarious.

level 2

I 100% agree. I found it quite wholesome in a weird way. I love when Charlie is bonding with Gabby. It's so adorable.

level 1

I actually really like it. There’s a ton of stilted dialogue, weird acting choices for the little girl, and just general blandness... but I thought the cast was good and the music was enjoyable.

Aunt Lydia and Charlie’s slacker bud are funny, but aside from them — not many laughs. Charlie and Gab have a cute relationship as well.
